We originally purchased our lot in 2018, thinking it would be a great place to escape for the weekend. We had planned on setting up the tent for the summer and having a quick place to get-away.

Somehow we went from “tenting it” to building our “cabin” starting construction in 2021. We have spent countless hours building the house, most of the lumber you see (countertops, baseboards, door casing) was milled on-site with our chainsaw mill.
